Always play Full Coin

This one is pretty straight forward, there is a usually 1%+ house edge difference between playing full coin (5 credits) and 4, 3, 2, 1 coins. Such that, if you want to keep your long run expected value as high as possible, then you should always play full coin.

The difference is typically from the Royal Flush payout. For example, in 9/6 Jacks or Better for 4 credits the Royal Flush pays 1000 coins but 5 credits pays 4000 coin. This causes the expected value of perfect play to drop from 99.54% on full coin to 98.05% on 4 credits.

Basically the casino is cheating the lower coin payouts on the Royal Flush, the minimum payout on the 9/6 should be 800 coin but they've dropped it 250 coin. Likewise for 2, 3 and 4 coin Royal Flush payouts. Its a great example of casinos screwing the poor to pay for the perks of the rich.

If you don't have alot of cash for the session, make use of the credit value function. Using that, you can still play full coin for whatever value your comfortable with. That is, instead of play $5 a hand on full coin $1 credits, you can reduce the credit value to $0.25 so full coin is only $1.25 per hand.

Good Luck!
